For all the world to hear and see
I put them in this book of mine
And store them there for you and me.”

Looking Through A Window by Stevaki Lobb

.
This book is a collection of poems that reflect moments of thought, observation, and imagination. Each piece invites the reader to pause, consider, and perhaps discover something familiar in a new light. The poems move between the personal and the universal, offering glimpses of how words can open windows to inner and outer worlds.
The poems range from quiet reflections to vivid explorations of daily life. Some capture fleeting moments, like a sudden shift in light or the murmur of a distant conversation, while others dive deeper into emotion, memory, and curiosity. Together, they create a tapestry of experiences that encourages readers to linger on each page, savoring the language and the ideas within.
Each poem is a step into the mind and heart of the writer, offering a personal perspective that is also open to interpretation. Whether read slowly, one at a time, or all at once, the collection invites readers to pause, reflect, and perhaps find a piece of their own story within these pages.

Looking through a window
Into the daylight stain
Eyes reflecting inward
Saw a window pane.
