Home

I grew up loving and admiring hibiscus, the national flower of South Korea. My boys were born in Hawaii, where hibiscus is the state flower. Life is a story map, finding similarities across the globe. I mulch the hibiscus in the harsh weather in Massachusetts.

Time and distance mark the joy of raising children in Hawaii, and the sorrow of losing my son. I may be a drop in a sea, or a pebble in a stream, but I’m grateful to be participating in the 7+ billion faces. My joy in watching my children grow up was as immense as the star-studded galaxy.

Tiny dripping words, Yenna

I mulch them. Mulch is the green thumb. Thanks.

Hibiscus flowers are beautiful with stunning pink.

I thought they can only grow, and bloom indoors in low hardiness zones.

Yenna, you surely has a green thumb!
