Winter Listens

The invisible summer hikes onto a great sky

Reducing the distances between the time and places

Delving into the shy memories of clumsy living

Where I walked on an overgrown path, but others

Paved.

Seasons, celebration of life, call for courage

To settle deeper into the ordinary mind

Of an extraordinary minefield,

History swallows the ordinary into the distant horizon

Of disappearing great mountains with flames and ashes.

Winter listens to the heat of summer

And crystallizes it into salt until the bird of paradise

Blooms—extraordinary made of ordinary,

Serving the undeserved.
